Jay Howells' art is hilarious. Since way back when he started making his 'Bay City Rockers' animations (check them on youtube), i been laughing at his work. So good everytime. He's doing a show with Mark Whalen over in SF opening this Saturday 18th.

A really good looking play hitting the stage at the Sydney Opera House this March.
"Starring three of stage and screen's hottest young stars, spanning two continents, Kieran Culkin (Igby Goes Down, Scott Pilgrim vs The World) plays Dennis whose father pays for his rent. Michael Cera (Juno, Superbad, Arrested Development) plays Warren, who has just stolen fifteen thousand dollars from his lingerie tycoon father. Both are college dropouts caught up in the excesses of the ‘Me Generation’. The story is complicated by Jessica played by Emily Barclay (Suburban Mayhem, Belvoir’s The Seagull) who, along with Dennis, introduces Warren to the complexities of human relationships, loyalty and betrayal." Quoted from Sydney Opera House website.
Can't wait for this one.

New feature up on the great blog Grain and Gram with Jason Gregory of Makr. I bought one of their canvas and leather backpacks over a year ago and took it around the world. It has aged beautifully, with second to none quality, construction and detailing. Highly recommended.

Interesting look at a historical button manufacturer. What is seemingly so banal is in fact a craft steeped in history. Beautiful old equipment and detailed buttons to keep your clothes done up.
